Dons Cactus Bar in Salome

We stopped by half way through a long drive in 40 degree Celcius heat. What a fabulous surprise. Great local diner. Huge portions. Loved the pink lemonade.

Nice local hangout with good restaurant attached. Friendly people. Some outdoor seating. Pool table and big screen TV.

Wonderful afternoon as always good friend s good food, good drinks and service as usual. A great turnout for the memorial for. Our beloved John T. RIP my friend!

Really good food huge portions. The green chili burrito was very good. my buddy had the chicken-fried steak and he said it was fantastic.

Fun place in the middle of nowhere. The beer is very reasonable. $2.50 for a bud light. Nice inside. A must stop location.

Follow me for more reviews. This place is my kind of joint! It is as cool as... it is really, really cool. The people were fun as hell, we got LOUD and that was OK. This joint is a fun spot an a great place to get your swerve on.

Nice friendly small town pub. Vets are very much recognized and respected there and they even go so far as to raise money to help vets on a regular basis. Pool tournaments on Sat @ 2 $5 to enter, stop in and have some fun.

I loved this place, but they didn't carry any IPAs - how is that possible?At least they had Crown Royal

We had broken down in the middle of the desert. I sent my mother in law and children to the restaurant to eat and chill while I waited for the diagnosis on my vehicle. We were all hot, sweaty, brow beaten, upset about the car issues. The restaurant was closed but they had a little food truck parked there. Ramona was the cook and she and the bar guy were fabulous! They lifted our spirits and gave us hope that our trip would get better (it did)! So glad we stumbled across this place! Great food, great atmosphere, and a great time was had!

The server was great - nice personality, helpful, quick. The salad was huge with generous amounts of each ingredient. I'll stop again if I'm by there in the future.

I like a small town cafe. This is a bar and cafe that are separated. Good food! Marginal coffee, but then again coffee taste differs for everyone.

Rustic, out of the way place with restaurant attached. Lots of parking, but it's mostly unpaved. Biker friendly otherwise. Big outdoor covered patio. Unique all wood decor.

Loved this place. I'm not calling it fancy or anything, but my burger was absolutely one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. It was spicy. Perfectly cooked. Full of deliciousness. The meat tasted amazingly fresh - like it was slaughtered and dressed that morning. The fries were good enough and the beer prices can't be beat. Plus, there's free WiFi. Really worth the stop! I highly recommend!

Didn't get a drink at the bar but did go to the restaurant side. The service was great. She was kind, attentive and funny. The food was delicious fair priced and such a large portion. The sizes of the drinks where huge too. All the frogs around the restaurant got me curious so I looked up the history and it's both funny and charming. Definitely recommend that you swing by if your passing through.

Stopped for lunch after camping in Parker for the weekend. Food was fantastic. Service was great. Clean and inviting atmosphere. Will definitely eat here again if we pass through.

If you want to feel welcome with complete strangers then this is the place.. Great atmosphere and the bartender on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday is hot as hell and will greet you with a smile!!

Friendly bartenders! They make the best Bloody Mary and I love the prickly pear margaritas. Always a fun group (no matter how big or small/time of year).

Don's Cactus Bar is an incredible place to visit if you are passing through Salome. Stop in for inexpensive drinks, great friendly people, and an incredible environment. Don't drive past without stopping in!

Fantastic cold beer atmospheres cool I really like it

A nice Arizona bar and restaurant. Had a great feel to it on the back road. It was good food and nice service. Bar was clean had they had pool tables drinks and a small restaurant attached to it. Would definitely go again. Highly recommended bar/restaurant. I got the BLT and a sprite with French fries. The serving was large as well as the fries serving was large. Great for the buck.(If you like my review, please leave me a 👍)

Pleasant place to stop. I stop here when traveling through. The people have always been nice to travelers. It has a full bar and there is a diner next door for food if hungry.

When you see this place from the outside you wouldn't stop, but looks can be deceiving. If you don't stop you're missing out on great food. Check it out.
